The difference between the Professional’s writing and mine is big. The Professional seems to have fewer numbers of sentences, but they are all long. One of the things the Professional does that I need to work on, is the variety of his punctuation. He switches up his sentences by using many different types of punctuation. The Professional’s writing is much more informing than mine.

Yes, I was also surprised by how long the sentences of the professional writer was, and how concise they were compared to mine.
I found the same differences in my paper and the article I compared it too. I think we all have found that the professionals use longer sentences and shorter paragraphs.
That's interesting because I found that the article I used had fewer words in their sentences and they had shorter paragraphs. It really depends on the author and the purpose of their article I think.
The article I read was similar to Spencer's. I guess it just depends on the writer and their style. And good call on the punctuation. That is something I need to work on aswell to make my writing not so boring.
It's interesting to see the different styles that professionals take on. Mine was longer in very category compared to the professional. Some things need us to be more concise, but when we are bringing in a new argument; i.e. fraternities at BYU, it's not always a good idea to be concise.
