Modivation

Motivation: the act or process of motivating; the condition of being motivated; a motivating force, stimulus, or influence; incentive, drive. This one word can summarize the message that was meant to be sent out by Joshua Ortega when he wrote Water Wars: Bottling Up the World's Supply of H2O. This kind of motivation was not any ordinary type of motivation. It was the motivation to act. He did so with a certain audience in mind. Those whom would be moved by disastrous hypothetical and real-life situations, obscure raw statistics, and general benefits that came along with the topic of switch over from bottled to tap water. The writer does not only uses the elements previously mentioned but also puts to use a whole arsenal of appeals to pathos, logos, and ethos.

Interesting start by using a definition; I have never seen that done before. Motivation is definitely the intention of Ortega's article.

I really like the way you started your intro. It is unique and catches the readers attention. Motivation definitely summarizes Ortega's message in his article.
