Blogs are so fun!

Jost, Kenneth. "Policing the Police." CQ Researcher 10.10 (2000): 209-240. CQ Researcher Online. CQ Press. Your library's name, city, state abbreviation. 6 Mar. 2009 .

Source: CQ Researcher
Author: Jost, Kenneth
Timeliness: updated today
Evidence: many sources given
Biases: site shows many sides of argument

I definitely think that CQ researcher is a very reliable source for background information. It has many sources to back it up and the site is very well kept. It is a fair and relatively unbiased way to get information.

I agree CQ Researcher is a reliable source for background information. One thing that I think you missed is that the article was actually written in 2000, so it was probably not updated today. However, that is still fairly recent so this is probably a good source regardless.

I really like CQ Researcher as well. The couple of sources that I got from that site have been great at providing me with other sources. However it says that the article was written in 2000 depending on what your topic this may or may not be okay. For example if your topic was on the current state of politics I doubt that this article will do you much good.

CQ researcher seems pretty popular, my topic didn't have very many hits on it though. I'm glad we learned how to use it though.
