I think this will be a great topic if you can find enough information on it. I will be interesting to see what other countries really think about American films even though they have very differing cultures.
I agree with David in that looking upon the American movie experience through the eyes of another culture will be very interesting. One point that may help you with your paper is how much do some cultures try to emulate the American way portrayed in movies and to what extent do they actually believe what is being showed to them, if they even believe it at all.
