My Progress

I have made a lot of progress since last week. After meeting with Professor Cowley, she helped me to realize that the argument for my paper needed to be stronger. I was just kind of saying random things in my paper that didn't really apply to the argument. I am now making revisions to make my thesis connect to the rest of the paper well, and also to come up with better arguments for the topic I am writing on.

It is almost easier to come up with a strong thesis after you have already written your paper. Once you have connected your thesis to the rest of your paper finding stronger arguments won't be too difficult.

Oh man I agree with that!
The thesis is the hardest part about the whole paper. It is much easier to decide what your main point is once you figure out what you are writing about. It's hard to write trying to tie into your thesis. It's much easier to write, see what your overall main point is, and turn that into a thesis.
