Moroni 7:45 - "And charity suffereth long, and is kind, and envieth not, and is not puffed up, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil, and rejoiceth not in iniquity but rejoiceth in the truth, beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things."
This scripture is full of personification. It correlates human attributes such as "kind", "thinketh no evil", and "hopeth all things" to the word charity. I think it is interesting to point out that if we change the wording of the scripture so that it reads "And a charitable person....", we see what a powerful effect charity can have on our lives if we use it righteously.

I never thought of putting the scripture into a person's perspective. That is very neat and can apply in both contexts.
I think the personification used in this verse place importance on charity. It tells in detail what charity is to help us become more charitable and to do this by working on each of those attributes.
