2 Nephi 1:15
But behold, the Lord hath redeemed my soul from hell; I have beheld his glory, and I am encircled about eternally in the arms of his love.
This is after Lehi and his family have arrived in the Promised Land and he is speaking to his sons and giving them warnings and counsel. I especially like the end of the verse where he talks about being eternally in the arms of his love. This is such and appeal to imagery and within the context of the story holds importance too. He speaks of embracing the savior while expressing this same love towards his sons. I think most of us feel the same way as Lehi would about being encirciled eternally in his love.

That imagery definately provides the reader with a small idea of the Lord's love for us. Who wouldn't want that feeling?
I like how you can also apply this imagery to personification. Love doesn't really have arms, but it makes a really good point and a great picture in your mind.
The imagery/personification of being "encircled about in the arms of his love" is a really powerful. It helps you feel the spirit and realize that the Lord is always there for you.
