http://www.signonsandiego.com/uniontrib/20080330/news_1a30global.html
This article talks about how there are a lot of new emerging bands that are spreading and becoming popular all over the world, including one band, Vampire Weekend, who play African pop-tinged music.
-What is the cause for such bands like this to emerge?
-In what ways is it a good thing for music to be globalized?
-In what ways is it a bad thing for music to be globalized?
-Is this just a fad or will music continue to be globalized?
-How does this affect us as citizens in the US?

I had the same article chosen until I saw that you had already used it haha.
Music is very prone to globalization. It is unbelievable how a certain genre can catch on in such a short amount of time. Do you think a lot of bands attempt to go foreign because they aren't successful here in the U.S.?
