Reflection

I have a hard time deciphering what the author is trying to say and what I think he is trying to say. I felt like I had good examples of tools the author used in his article, but my analysis was repetitive and weak. This paper taught me to look closely at the techniques used to persuade the audience and how the audience is effected. I always think the advice from classmates helps me clearly see what I need to fix. Also, reading my paper out loud and making sure it is concise and clear was an effective part of my writing process. Writing this paper has effected the way I look at an argument. When looking at globalization articles online for the blog assignment I found myself looking into what the author was trying to persuade the audience to do and how he was trying to do this. If I could do this over again I think I would pick an article that interested me more so that it could be more enjoyable, but overall I learned a lot from this assignment.

I'm glad you appreciated my advice. Your examples were strong. I felt as though my paper was repetitve as well but I think that is just because of the article analyzed.
