2-What other types of music from the West have influenced Russia?
3-How has native Russian music influenced the rest of the world?
4- Why are the Russian blues considered "high" culture?
5- What is the difference between Russian blues and American?
6- In what ways has music from all different cultures affected Russia?

I didn't even know blues came from Russia. I think this could make an interesting issues paper, but i think that it would difficult to pull off. I don't know how much information there is on this subject.

It is interesting how out of all the different customs that countries could shar music seems to be the one that bridges all languages and countries.

Another question could deal with how the music in Russia has influenced music in the Unites States and also in european countries.

What do you mean by "low" and "high"? Is that referring to the types of people that listen to the music? If this is the case, I think a very interesting paper would deal with how the transition from rich to poor occurred and what factors were a part of this transition.

Way to pick a topic that you are interested in! If we have to write eight pages we might as well make it interesting.
