Wicked
Growing up, my parents loved getting my siblings and I involved in cultural events and activities. One of these activities included going to musicals and this past year I had the opportunity to go to "Wicked." I found a review of "Wicked" online which was done by a reporter for the New York Times. The style of this review is very formal, which is appropriate for where it was published. The artist did a good job of summarizing the details of how they felt when they watched it. However, the amount of details they use may also lose the reader's interest and the review may not affect them. Overall though, the author did a good job of showing the readers the essence of the musical, and their opinion of the show.

I love that play!!! Reading that review helped me remember all the characters, and made me want to see it again.
I think it is funny when people writing reviews go into huge detail on what they are talking about. I think that shows that the writer was really passionate about whatever they are writing about, but sometimes if they take it a little too deep, it loses its affect (effect? shoot, I can't remember which one. And we even had that little minny lesson in class).
