I was considering writing my paper on the education in different cultures and the importance that different societies place on it.
-In the United States, education is considered a basic human right and important to be successful in our society.
-In Africa, education is not as important to their culture. This year 94 percent of the schools where the majority of the children were taught, were closed down.
- China's school system is very strict and rigid, and you are looked down on if you don't have a good education.
-It is up to the states in Mexico, to keep attendance or not, meaning it doesn't matter if the students show up or not.

One thing that I believe may be helpful to your thesis is to perhaps narrow it to one particular type of education (such as elementary, secondary, university, etc.). Education throughout the world is very broad and can be covered in many different ways. I think it might be helpful for you if you narrowed it to just one particular type of education.
I think you found a lot of information relating education to globalization. Something that might be helpful as you search your topic is to find how education relates to a country's economic success.
I really like your topic. However education in different cultures is really broad. You might could narrow it down to a specific subject or grade level in different cultures or even narrow the different cultures you look at. Because I'm sure there is a big difference between the U.S. and poor little Madagascar.
