I really like the verse in Alma 42:31 "And now, O my son, ye are called of God to preach the word unto this people. And now, my son, go thy way, declare the word with truth and soberness, that thou mayest bring souls unto repentance, that the great plan of mercy may have claim upon them. And may God grant unto you even according to my words. Amen."
The reason I really enjoy this verse is because it outlines what we need to do. It is very blunt and it seems that when we are blunt we are more likely to do what is needed. That is why I think this verse works so well. Another thing that works so well for this verse is the fact that Alma tells you what will happen once you do what has been commanded of you.

This scripture is definitly written with a strong a authority. A scripture of this Significance creates a response for all lds members to go out and serve the lord. This is a great scripture for missionary work.
I like the tone that this verse has. It allows the reader to feel a sort of motivation to go and "go thy way, declare the word with truth and soberness."
