Major Viewpoints: AIDS

My issues paper will be about the problem of AIDS here in the United States, compared to the problem of AIDS throughout the world. There is a big difference in how our country handles this disease compared to other countries around the world.

Major Viewpoints:

1. The United States has a responsibility to assisst developing countries that have a problem with AIDS. (Source: Masci)

2. Health education and awareness in the United States is much better than other countries, which educates people about the disease and how it is passed. (Source: Bristol)

3. AIDS is no longer a disease found mostly in developing countries, but everywhere in the world. (Source: Cooper and Demick)

4. AIDS has left many children orphans throughout the world, and something needs to be done to stop this. (Source: Man)
