My topic is looking at sweatshops and how they benefit foreign economies. Most people, including my myself, on first thought associate sweatshops with negative things. I'm trying to take the opposite stance and show that there actually might be some benefits to sweatshops.
Viewpoints:
1) Most people are opposed to sweatshops because they promote child labor and offer their workers terrible working conditions (Clark).
2) Some people are overall opposed to sweatshops but they recognize that some economic benefits to come about from them. However, they feel that the moral issues outweigh the economic benefits (Arnold).
3) Some people disregard the working conditions of sweatshops because the people working there did so under their own will and place making money above good working conditions (Zwolinski).
4) Some people feel that the economic benefits for the countries with sweatshops are the first steps towards becoming developed countries and that the economic benefits are too good to ignore (Myserson).

1. It appears as hough you will find the benefits that sweatshops may have to the poor people of other countries.
2. They will have to address the view that child labor is bad and that sweatshops have a poor image throughout the world.
I think you give a great opening paragraph that describes that you are going to stand on the side of helping sweatshops because in certain areas they are vital for the economy.
I agree with you, when first hearing about sweatshops you think they are awful things, however, I agree that in many other countries they are what help keep the people on their feet.
1. Like you said in your intro, you said you are taking the stance to show how sweatshops actually benefit the economy, which is interesting and not what people usually think of.
2. I think you are doing a good job looking at both sides of the argument.
