Still working on a thesis, but I want to incorporate the presence of fast food restaurants and the effect they have on the obesity epidemic.
Viewpoints:
1.) Obesity is a problem that the United States specifically faces which has arrived from the fault of society. (Sources: Critser, Fauber, Morril, Rigby/Kumanyika/James, Tanner, Walsh)
2.) Obesity is a problem that the globe faces as a whole, which needs attention to bring about change. (Sources: Dixon, Flamenbaum, Gebel, Macleod, Traphagan)
3.) Fast food restaurants are one of the major causes for obesity across the globe. (Fauber, Greenblatt, Macleod, ProQuest, Rigby/Jeremy, Ruskin)
4.) Fast food restaurants are a positive thing. (source: Rigby/Jeremy)
5.) General/unbiased background information. (sources: Danowski, Encyclopedia Britannica, Funk & Wagnalls New World Encyclopedia)

By the way you presented these arguments it seems like you are most likely to argue the first and third points. They seem to have the most sources and from the way you wrote the explanation they seem to be more developed.
I think you've done a really nice job of breaking down your arguments into distinct categories. It appears that you are going to try and argue that fast food has a negative effect on our society's weight issues. I watched a video once where this couple only ate fast food for a month or so and they actually lost weight. You might want to look into this video to find viewpoints that you can prepare evidence against.
I think that you are going to write about how fast food restaurants are causing obesity. I think that you have a lot of strong points about how obesity is not just a personal problem but also a societal problem.
From how these viewpoints are represented, I believe that you will be arguing that fast food is a cause of the obesity in our country and around the world.
1. By the way these facts were represented it appears that you will oppose fast food because it has had an effect in the obesity of America.
2. You will have to address that many people eat fast food everyday, it really is a convenient souce of food.
It appears that there are viewpoints on obesity US and world wide. Many people know it is a bad thing, but they keep eating at fast food restaurants. These must change.
i think the view point that will be taken will be that obesity is a problem world wide.
They will need to include all other arguments and also to support the thesis with proof.
Yes we all know that fast food is a helping cause in the current obesity epidemic. However we can't put all the blame on the fast food companies. You might include that the fast food companies need to do more things to make sure that their customers need to be more aware of the different problems that fast food brings.
