This is an analysis of the movie, The Dark Knight. I think the author took the time to analyze this movie because he wanted to share his opinion on the true principles behind the story of Batman. He fails to consider anyone else’s opinion and only exhibits his own ideas and observations. For example, I personally thought that both Katie Holmes and Maggie Gyllenhaal were terrible actresses for the role of Rachel Daws, and think that this role could have been performed much better by a different actress.
Thesis: The Dark Knight is different from all other comic book films because it allows the audience to see the difference of right and wrong and how people become lost and isolated individuals.
This article would look a lot different if it used the rhetorical terms used in class. I believe if he had included some of these terms it would have enhanced his paper rhetorically, but would have taken away from the emotion he expressed to convey his true feelings.
I personally agree with the author’s opinion, however, I find that his arguments are biased because he does not consider what anyone else may think.

It seems to me that everyone seems to hate the actresses for Rachel Dawes, but really i don't know if there is an actress that could do a better job. But i do know that The Dark Knight was the most amazing movie ever!!!
Yeah, that movie was epic. I think it would have been easier for us to say that Maggie Gyllenhaal did a better job had she been Rachel Dawes since the first one. I think she did better than Katie Holmes for sure, but was still a little off for the role. I guess it doesnt really matter who plays her now since they killed her off...

The character herself is probably this dislike of most people. Any great actor in that spot can't be anything terrific. I agree though that this movie is awesome.
Don't get me wrong The Dark Night was a great movie, but I feel like the writers could have done several things different. For example it would have been great if they didn't worry about Two Face in this movie but introduce him in another movie. I feel like having two villains at once was a bad choice on their part.
I think it is really important to know both sides of the argument. I went and talked to the director of the bookstore and was able to get a good view of the other side of my argument. If you don't include both sides of the argument it usually makes you sound either baised on uninformed.
