Reflection

I learned a lot about my writing style as I wrote my opinion editorial. I have the ability to use words to try to convince others of my ideas. This is the best I have ever done on any writing involving my own opinion and convincing others. I learned the most, however, when I had the opportunity to talk to the director of the bookstore and hear his side of the story. Not only did this give me a better understanding of the other side of the issue, but it also showed me how to incorporate the other side into my paper more. I have learned that I do struggle with writing like this, but if I work on it over and over and have others read through my paper then I can create a good paper. Prework really helps me more than I thought it did. I also really value the opinions of others who are also informed. Overall this was a great assignment for improving my writing skills.

It's cool to see how we all have progressed so much in such a sort time in school. I think learning how to use rhetoric will help in all writing in the future.
