Reflection

This has been my first class in a long time where I have had to go through an entire writing process.  I had forgotten how long and arduous it can be at times, however, I feel like I have learned a lot of valuable lessons that I can apply in the future.  I learned that it takes time.  You can't write a good paper the first time through.  I've learned your topic can and should change sometimes to make for a better argument.  I think one of the biggest things is letting other people edit your paper and say what they as a reader would think.  That is the best thing you can do for a paper.

I agree, before writing this paper I rarely used the writing process. I was especially bad with prewriting and brainstorming. It is only through this paper that I have realized the entire process is necessary in order to be successful.

It has been a long process and I can't even remember the last time I sat down and went through something like this paper.I agree with Anu that it defnitly has changed my outlook on papers.

I haven't written an involved paper like this in such a long time. I don't think I wrote one paper in my English class last year. My teacher was a bit lame. But I have learned so much from this class already and I am really glad. As much as I hate writing, this has been super helpful. And I figure you can only run and hide from writing for so long, eventually you're going to have to just face the cold hard facts that being a good writer is important.
